Might have the same break thing I do, it doesn't always shudder, but it's pretty bad when it does. (for nothingfiction)

And I painted my drums. I just masked them off to keep the paint out, it looks a lot better now.

When you say shudder what do you mean(like hopping, bounceing and does it come from the front or the back)?

they priced me saying for them to do the current brakes it would be $15 bucks. Or buy new ones at $40 bucks a pop. But i have a thing with the new LOL. the Money isnt an issue. for all the work on one side is less than $100 and spending $200 isn't bad. And it wouldn't even be that much since all i would be replacing on the passenger side is the drum itself. and i was thinking it would be much easer to powdercoat the new ones than it would be the old ones right? How much should a good powdercoat on the drums cost? Would it even be worth doing? Paint is paint and paint has a tendancy to chip and all. Just thought to ask.

the shudder is... kind of like driving over a really bad road with craters for potholes LOL. and it feels more like it's from the back. But if i ease on the brakes it is fine, or less noticeable at least.

Needs a wire brush, brake cleaner and some rustoleum, it shouldn't chip. High heat spray paint would probably be better though.

First off have you called about the recall for the lower ball joints. If you don't know call your local Mitsu dealer(service division) and see if they can run your VIN to see if the recall has been done. If it hasn't then they will tell you to bring it in and they will do it for free(under recall).(*Needs to do this)
Like Bubbs said(( Needs a wire brush, brake cleaner and some rustoleum, it shouldn't chip. High heat spray paint would probably be better though))..will do just fine an cheaper/easier than powder coating..
:thumb:
Also are the front tires in good condition and are they balanced? If not that might be a problem you need to look at.:thumb:

Bubbs wrong:nono: missed a step, first you need paint stripper and pull the old paint off of those rims. Mine were silver like yours then we stripped them and repainted them black metallic.

This is what I got
2 cans paint stripper
2 can primer(black)
2 cans Black Metallic
2 can Gloss
Ran me around 25.00 at a Lowes(hardware store). Took me about 4 hrs for them to set and completely dry.

So I got lost, and no I am not talking about the person above me, because that is why I started an 'off topic' BS thread in the hangout, but someone thought it was better erased, so Tuners has officially failed.

But that's ok, I usually don't come here much anymore anyways since it's so slow. Another fail.

Anyways, I am confused about her problem, she get a vibration when braking, but she said her wheel cylinder was leaking?

Usually vibration when braking has two different variety's, vibration in the steering wheel/brake pedal (which indicates its the front brakes), or in the car/or usually feels like the seat (which indicates its the rear). One can also drive around 35 and lightly pull the e-brake and see if the vibration is there, that would narrow it down to being the rears.

But if her wheel cylinder is leaking, she would need to replace those, and probably the shoes (depending on if they were contaminated or not), and re-surface the drums (if they were under the max machining spec).

But if gs or gst brakes bolt up, she should know I have a set of gsx calipers, and powerslot rotors that need a good home, since their just sitting after my brembo swap. I don't know because I have never done the research on that question, but if so, I have them, if'n you wants them. And you don't even have to go to dinner. LOL

From now on folks I will be eating healthy no more junk food no more soda no more energy drinks.
Doctor's orders plus I want my lady to be healthy and she want me to be healthy.
