So I got lost, and no I am not talking about the person above me, because that is why I started an 'off topic' BS thread in the hangout, but someone thought it was better erased, so Tuners has officially failed.

But that's ok, I usually don't come here much anymore anyways since it's so slow. Another fail.

Anyways, I am confused about her problem, she get a vibration when braking, but she said her wheel cylinder was leaking?

Usually vibration when braking has two different variety's, vibration in the steering wheel/brake pedal (which indicates its the front brakes), or in the car/or usually feels like the seat (which indicates its the rear). One can also drive around 35 and lightly pull the e-brake and see if the vibration is there, that would narrow it down to being the rears.

But if her wheel cylinder is leaking, she would need to replace those, and probably the shoes (depending on if they were contaminated or not), and re-surface the drums (if they were under the max machining spec).

But if gs or gst brakes bolt up, she should know I have a set of gsx calipers, and powerslot rotors that need a good home, since their just sitting after my brembo swap. I don't know because I have never done the research on that question, but if so, I have them, if'n you wants them. And you don't even have to go to dinner. LOL

Here is the thread for what ya need..
Parts:
(these must be sourced from a 1995-1999 GS, GS-T or GS-X)
- 2 rear calipers
- 2 brake rotors
- 2 brake caliper hoses

- complete sets of rear brake pads

Ok... i'm sold. how much you want for em... assuming you still have all parts needed to do it. Also... any clue as to how much shipping costs would be?

As for the noise/vibration. Yes, that is exactly what the guy at the shop said. it doesn't do it when normal driving, and its not vibrating the wheel at all. Just you feel it like its under or behind you. Like the whole car shakes. Possible also could be a strut problem under the same wheel s the brake problem.

"But if her wheel cylinder is leaking, she would need to replace those, and probably the shoes (depending on if they were contaminated or not), and re-surface the drums (if they were under the max machining spec)."

This is exactly what needs done. New shoes and a new cylinder and they said while they're doing that they should prob work the drum as well. the Cylinder and shoe def needs replacing.
