I just wants to know how the hell he got banned form DSMtalk they are more lax then here.

Some asshole sold me a busted boost gauge. It read 12hg of vacuum when it wasn't even plugged, I PM'd him several times without response, I then took a picture of the busted gauge and posted it in the thread and I demanded my money back. Then a mod told me that I shouldn't argue on the forums and take it to PM's, I contacted another mod about this and we were trying to get a response from the seller, he finally responded and said he would give me my money back, then he goes onto his thread and starts bitching that I just ruined his rep by posting that picture and I made him look like a shady scammer. He also said, haven't you heard of shipping damage? it probably got damaged by usps. I told him dude, have you heard of packaging items correctly? who the hell puts 200 bucks worth of parts in an envelope and sends it via usps. (HKS turbo timer, Hallman MBC and an autometer gauge) you should have put it in a secure box with padding.
Then some random dude said he was a good seller, some other guy agreed. The same mod that told me to knock it off came back into the thread, locked it and said that that was not the place to argue, that was not a place for good guy bad guy posts and that he had already warned us... So we both got banned... I don't know for how long...

What movie? You want comedy (new Van Wilder),horror, what ya want?

Is it just me or do you get discouraged from searching when you've searched for over an hour and a half/two hours or more and your question should be simple yes/no but they don't specify. i'm sick of looking for something only to find people to say it's not worth it OR it's for the turbo application. Well if it's for the 4G63 at least have the courtesy of telling a girl where to go for a real answer to the 420A application. Seriously!

Should know if she had any questions all she had to do was ask..:ohdamn:

Ok, my friend Sarah's brother is selling AEM Cam gears... since he likes me he is willing to sell me 2 from his neon for $75 and a dinner date. Not thrilled, but interested in the gears. AEM's website sounds impressive and they are promoted on here too... My problem is this. His neon is an SRT4 (turbo) and obviously i have N/A. Would the cams even be compatible? is there a difference from the turbo and N/A cams?

From what i have read everyone and their neighbor who has turbo has done this. Few N/A cars have, even when i went to the AEM site they specify the same cam for the RS that they do the GST. i don't need the you won't notice any change speech... im working up one piece at a time. But for what he has... his original box says part number 23-650... the AEM website doesn't even list this. They list the 23-850 as the cam for both versions of our car. What is up with that? ANy thoughts?

If its a SRT4 its a 2.4 not a 2.0 big difference in the motors. Look at this link and from what they say the 23-850 is what is called for.
AEM Cam Gears 95-99 Neon / Talon / Eclipse 420A - Dodge by SlowMotion Motorsports
AEM TRU-TIME Adjustable Cam Gears are available in a multi-spoke, five-bolt design for most vehicles and our classic full-faced, three-bolt design for select applications. Five-bolt cam gears have an "8" in the suffix (23-8XX), and three-bolt cam gears have a "6" in the suffix (23-6XX).
Just check the number on the gears and you should have your answer.:thumb:

Really knows his stuff.

i'l have to look at the actual cam to get the right number i guess. but i remember the box said 650 and not 850. i wrote it down to verify it would work LOL... maybe there was a typo? i can't find 650 anywhere for any make or model.

Should know I always try if I can.:thumb::cool::rocks:

Ok, so my brake light was kicking on when i would be going under 40 kmp and would go off when i was above that... Looking on here i read like 100 people just say to refill the fluid... Ok did that today. Then driving i noticed a shuttering when i would brake hard. So i got it looked at, the boot or something is leaking in my rear drivers side brake. i was prepared to hear something like this because 1 person did say out of hundreds of other people and posts that the brake light does this if there is a problem with the brake system. Thats all fine. Now... would there be a point in getting a big break kit just for the rear? Since i have to replace my drum shouldnt i replace both of them to make it even? When i do replace them... Can i powdercoat them blue to match my theme? Or will that mess up the brake pads/shoes? And NO i'm not planning to do the work myself. Nor would i paint it while it is on the car.

Since you have drums in the back you have a RS and what ya need to do is find somebody with a GS (disc brakes for rear) and get the setup for him/her. It should bolt right up. Should cost to much either. Or you could just get a break job (get drums turned, and new hardware) and you should be fine and then you could paint or powder coat them. It would be cheaper and alot easier(and cheaper) just getting he drums brakes redone..
To powder coat or paint the drums they will only do the drum not the brakes on the inside(of the drum). For front brakes you can only do the calipers...
