Should know I too spent all that money and both my cars are pretty much stock.

It's just the nature of the game. Sometimes I regret spending all that money, but I then I usually think, what's the point of money if you aren't using it to enjoy this one and only life you get? For the most part there isn't a right or wrong way to spend money. Sure, we probably could've save a grand here or there with our DSMs, but that's nothing to get upset over.
Now if you spent your life savings on a house and they build a max security prison or an open pit mine next door, then you can be upset. Like my dad still owes $400k on a house that's really only worth like $200k now.
