No, its literally got little metal studs in it. I got it with my Grand AM strangely. Replaced it with a regular tire because it was so damn noisy. Sounded like I either had a flat tire or was always driving on rocks. I'm gonna put it on the drivers side front so I can do circles

Should know a good winter tire is just as good as a studded tire, and it rides a whole lot better.

They woke me up,I wasnt happy..Then its too flipping cold outside for my car to start..I may need a different battery with more cca.
