Saturn Alternator Swap with a 4-pin Alternator Connector

I am putting in a Saturn Alternator in my car this weekend (97 Talon TSI AWD). From research I know the F-wire is connected to a 12V switch power (7.5A). However, I do not know what the L-wire is connected to on the 4-pin connector going to the alternator. Looking at the 4-pin, there is a white wire, red wire, black/yellow wire and a green (maybe brown, I am color blind) wire. Does anyone know what wire I should connect to for the L-wire?

You can use the red wire from the fuel pressure solenoid for a switched 12V source. Or get out the multimeter and find a different wire if you want, there's a whole slew of them in the engine bay.

I got rid of my fps wiring when I did my wire tuck. Is there another wire I could hook up? I'm not very good with a multimeter.

All of these have switched power sources. The switched power wire on each is RED. The IAC actually has two switched wires.

Camshaft position sensor
IAC
Crankshaft position sensor
Fuel injector resistor box

so the red wire i connect to the FPS? like i need a wire and extend all the way there? how do i connect it to the red wire on the FPR just splice or solder the 3 tips together?
