saturn alternator relocation prblms

bought jays relocation kit. for my 1g. the tensioner arm was too short... borrowed my friends own, and the tensioner arm is long.. is there a middle tensioner or should i cut it and re tap it?

What alternator are u using to be exact? How does the plug look like?

You probably bought the wrong kit. Looks like you would need a 1g Saturn kit.

The Saturn will use a short one as pictured:

Ok. The top one has a different mounting point than the latter. U need a short tensioner. Maybe contact jay racing and see of they have it separate. Or yea u could cut and tap the longer one.

Ok this is what it looks like with the long. Now if I put the short. The belt won’t fit and it’s almost out of adjustment

Nvm guys I got it figured out. I was putting the tensioner arm on the top hole when it should’ve been on the bottom . f*** me right
