saturn alternator issues

Im having some issues installing my saturn alternator. The adjusting bracket wont line up. I leave it stock it hits alternator fan i flip it upside down i cant tighten the bolt on the bracket down. Things just arent lining up.
 
Yep. Thats how it is. You have to tighten it with only the adjuster bolt and bottom bolts.
 
If your talking about the metal block that the alt attaches to with the adjustment bolt then yes. It will really only fit one way.

On a side note TurboGlenn is making Saturn alt brackets soon. So look for that soon.
 
It will only work one way. So whatever way it works is the correct way.
 
I'd throw some loctite on the adjuster bolt to make sure it doesn't loosen on you.
