As much as I hate to do it I wouldn't waste the time. I don't know how many people are actually going to come now and well I would hate for you to drive down here and have no one show up.

One more out. Looks like I've got a memorial service to go to at 2pm on Saturday. I swear the world is out to prevent me from going to any DSM meets. People are even going so far as to die to prevent me from meeting up with you guys.

On the bright side, I might be picking up a GVR4 this weekend. Might...

so....little birdie told me today that a nice shiny blow dryer is on its way to my house....well i guess that birdie had to tell me ### i called it...it being Forced Performance...ok fine...MY TURBO WILL BE HERE TOMORROW MORNING!!!!!!!!
can you tell im a bit excited? i'm having them overnight it. i guess my plans will be getting everything into the car. if anyone wants to help out on the install, feel free to pm me or just swing by if you know where i live, i'll be starting tonight.

so FP was supposed to have fedex deliver here on saturday. guess what, its at the warehouse in oakland...to be delivered on monday. great...so i get held off for 2 days. on the bright side, i did get the head studs and the cams installed. yeeee

no i didnt start it. im not going to until the turbo goes in. i dont want to refill the oil and water and then have to drain it again...i want that oil very clean for the new turbo and im not about to empty my oil drain pan back into the motor. i need to go buy a torque wrench that goes down to like 8lbs for my cam caps

Just tighten them down to 20lbs

well i found out the spec is 16lbs....25% more is quite a bit. so i just went to sears and bought a lower reading torque wrench and ill return it tomorrow after some very slight use....shhhh
