oh i would love to get it in....one thing is still standing in my way..the ####in rear motor mount. i got the new inserts in..but cant get them to slide into the damn mount attached to the motor. gahhh...who wants to come help...ill let you touch the turbo!
 
your still laggin on that rear motor mount?

maybe you should take the other half of the mount off the car and use a vice to get it on. LOL

ok guys....i need help with my installs. if anyone thinks they can help in the evening i would really appreciate it. gotta get the turbo, fmic piped, fuel pump, finish off the motor mounts. all done by early tomorrow so i can get tuned.

to add to the mess..im going to pick up some wheels today too...well if all goes well i will and then i got to take a couple hours to get them mounted
 
i dunno...when it gets done. im trying to get squeezed in sometime this week. if not, my official date is on the 19th
 
Well sense we are showing pics of big turboooos, I figure I throw in my 30R picture too.

Now is not as shiny or bling bling like Edwins turbo :p but I still love it :thumb:

luis our turbos are twins...thats what mine looks like unpolished....we just got diff turbine housings.

I HATE MOTOR MOUNTS. but they are done now.

tstkl convinced me to get rid of my vacuum lines....engine looks so much nicers now. and i took the charcoal canister too. the funny thing is my egr lines werent even hooked on, and the egr solenoid vacuum lines were mixed up. my car still passed smog...hmmm

power steering lines are getting looped and 14b removed....finally
 
as much as that whole.... edwins engine overheated because he kinked his water feed line to his turbo sucked.....

even without a tune... I LOVE THAT CAR!!!!!

edwin needs to figure out how to turn off fuel cut so he doesn't hit it at 4k rpms at 30%tps @6 psi...

also, his o2 sensor is shot, so we couldn't tune anything. We got the idle running a tad bit better, due to use of the uber tuning device, mine and nats nose.

we didn't see any knock at full boost, but again, that was at like 30-40% tps, so I dunno whats going to happen once he goes full throttle.



THAT CAR PULLS!!!!! even with the completely stock map and a shot o2 sensor at 30-40% tps, OMG FTW MAD TYTE JDM YO!!!
 
well guys....im not gonna tune with the meth. i just wanna see what this car will do on pump. plus the wiring on the meth kit is kinda wierd...theres a relay when the electrical diagram doesnt show one. so i dunno. but like brian said....the car still has some issues. number one being the shot o2 sensor. i see positive boost at 3k at 30-40% throttle, just a little, but thats where it starts. I did manage to go full boost at part throttle a couple times and man...external dump is mean. I like it. even at this low throttle it pulls just about as hard as my 14b did. hahahah.

i fixed my overheating problem:
1. leaky hose, clamped that thing up and so far so good.
2. i did not wire in the coolant temp sensor at the bottom of the radiator when i did my slim fan so it was not turning on at 190*. now it does. the car seems to operate at 106-110 during normal driving so i think thats ok. the needle stays right below half way on the temp gauge.

i tune tomorrow at 11am.
 
good thing operating temps is another 80 degrees higher, LOL

I thought you said you were installing the meth kit when I called you earlier today. That was probably after 4 though, so maybe things have changed since your last post.


Im thinking about the 3065 again. If your seeing boost at 3krpms, I don't think a gt40r compressor wheel will be much slower.
 
yeah...typo...the car runs at 206-210.

and yeah...the meth kit is pretty much in. i just need a cap for the tank. we'll see how i do on the dyno tomorrow.

hey whats up? did you get a chance to dyno your car? im curious to see what your car put out. did you go to full function? reason i ask is because im thinking of taking my car up there soon for some tuning.

Take it there you will not be dissapointed I put my word on it. As for edwins car it made 305awhp which in dynojet numbers(the ones most people go by since mustang dynos rape you) is about 360awhp. Not bad for a stock engine save cams on 91 octane.
