Take it there you will not be dissapointed I put my word on it. As for edwins car it made 305awhp which in dynojet numbers(the ones most people go by since mustang dynos rape you) is about 360awhp. Not bad for a stock engine save cams on 91 octane.

How much b00st? What Engine management as well? Did he use his methonal kit too? Just curious. :D

im pretty happy with the car....i was honestly hoping for more...but i really need cam gears to make power up top. i get the peak power at 6200 rpm and then it falls. give me some time to pay off these debts and pick up a set of gears and i'll tune on the meth kit i have....hopefully another 50whp? is that too wishful? im just trying to live up to the example luis set.

oh yeah...the first person i ran into on the road today.....i got smoked...a modded FD. boooo. and i got bitched out by a chp..."you're lucky i didnt get a pace on you or else we wouldnt just be talking right now"

i got pulled over before i raced him ok....haters
you have such bad luck with cops. 105 in a s2000 (ok, so you werent driving, but still), ~50 in a 35, got off with a warning because he didn't have anything on you, now this... All in one week. I've been pulled over once, and it was in my friends m3 because I was tailing an evo. I've never been pulled over in the talon, although I did see the lights turn on for me once. I guess the 80+ mph lead I had on him changed his mind. LOL, that was a good day. 180 miles in 1:30, through traffic on the 880... Lets just say, THATS why I need a digital speedometer.... Stupid 145 mph speedo, seriously, who hasn't pinned their 1g speedo?

surprisingly....i havent topped out my car since the new setup...im too scared. ive had way too many run ins with cops already. and shit..the car is loud when the wastegate opens up...but i love it

funny, it didn't seem to loud to me.... maybe its because Im used to my exhaust and the dump is only a tad bit louder. Its deffinatly a different tone though. Too bad you have to rev high for it to go off, otherwise you could scare people hella easily. Maybe I'll get a t-25 and a 46mm tail wastegate on my exhaust manifold, just to scare people. Get a 3 psi spring and put it on the minivan. 3 liters of terror. LOL

do you know how wastegates work:beatentodeath: ?

yeah, and if I got a 3 psi spring, it would be FULLY open hella soon in the rpm range. I know they progressively open, which is why an mbc decreases spool time, it keeps the wastegate closed for a longer period of time during spool. Pressure builds up behind the diaframe and pushes against the spring, and when the desired pressure is reached, the wastegate opens.

my bad, the smallest spring I can find for a tail wastegate is a 7.25 psi spring. still, on a 3 liter v-6 pushing a t-25, I think that would be soon enough.

I don't understand what I said that was "stupid", but the point of my post was it would be funny to have a wastegated dumped to the atmosphere which you could open at very low rpms while driving around town. Sure it would get annoying after 1 day, but for that 1 day,... WOW. LOL

seriously though, I might as well just get exhaust cut outs where the two headers meet.
