so when is this meet going to happen?

Sept 9th

Starions are more than welcome, they are awsome cars and hey were all mitsu turbos right?! Unfortunately for this meet I am going to keep it on saturday. We get alot of flakes too adn I don't want to go changing things around at the last minute, sorry.

someone with a starquest is going to have to give me a ride if you guys come. I wanted one for longer than I wanted a dsm. I got the dsm because its faster.... but rwd, o la la

ok thats good either way. i told a couple of starquesters and i got 2 more saying they should make it. dsm being faster though? im not saying all dsms are slow or trying to start anything. it all just depends on the application, time and money. starion was also my very first car. 4 cars later, back to the starion. but ya, cant wait for the cruise. thanks guys.

Starquests are faster stock but dsms are easier to make fast. Both are dope ass cars however. And there are some seriuosly fast bay dsms now. Hope to see you and some others out at the meet, we need more mitsu representation in the bay.

and a 1988+ tsi is hard to come by. the non intercooled ones had like 151 hp, right?

either way, what I ment was, dsm's are soooooo easy to make fast. And there is much better aftermarket support for us. But Starquests are legit. If I find a nice 1988 black on black chrysler conquest tsi with low miles, I might just have to pick it up. I doubt I'll have the money when one comes my way though.

Someone needs to get edwin to stop trying to convince me to go in on a pair of seats with him. Hes pretty damn close to convincing me to waste my turbo money on bling...

hopefully i can still make it. i really want to see some cars other than starquests. 2 of my friends will be making it for sure in their starions though. but ya, we cant wait.

bling bling is cool man. i need a wideband but i really want some race seats.... :)

i'm counting down to the meet....

to install:
clutch/flywheel/ss line (sunday)
motor mounts (sunday)
turbo (when it gets in this week)
arps
cams
walbro
fans
i/c piping
wideband (once i decide to buy it)

next week is wrench week...anyone is free to come by and lend a hand

clutch and flywheel are IN! just need to break it in for 500 miles before i can drive it hard...i guess ill be in the chill group now...

Nice, how does the clutch pedal feel LOL workout.

I have to work saturdays now too :|

Glad it worked out, ricer :p

I'll be sitting this one out too, guys. I don't have a healthy enough car to make this run and riding with people creeps me out. Also going hang gliding on Saturday :D

The clutch feels good. I can honestly say I only stalled on the first try backing out of Jason's house. It isn't as bad as I thought and according to TSTKL its lighter than his 2600. Sure does grab though.

Mahesh...you flake...

Cool, keep an eye on your master and slave clutch cylinders if they are old. The higher pressures can make them leak.

That's why I only do work at his house if I can help it. Yeah, good times, hahahaha. Most of them at tstkl's expense but it's all good :p

quote of the night:

tstk: oh yeah, you got them used right
