your not that far.... its only like a two-three hour drive. (I made it to yosemite in 3 hours in the minivan, so my guess is you should be able to do it quite a bit faster than that.)

On a serious note, anyone have any idea how long this meet will run? I just realized that I have to be in SF on that day around 7PM to go see AFI and Saosin. :)

so were talking, 14b, clutch, cams, smic, and what else?

when does the turbo come? I don't know when Im working, but I can sure as hell tell you I don't have work all next week except wednesday, (my bosses sick idea of a joke, and another reason for quitting), so if you leave the garage open, I'll come down and throw the 52 in and finish up the fmic, piping, and everything else you need to get that running. Seriously, I want a ride in a fp series turbo car, since I'll be getting the 65 anyways. And I think Im gonna go turbo before bottom end, just so I have a reason to build the engine when I blow it. LOL, I do need some apr's and a mitsu multi layer metal head gasket though.
 
me n mahesh are going to do the clutch, flywheel, clutch line, and port the 2g manifold this next sunday. problem with my turbo install is that i need to do that, the arps, cams, intercooler piping, motor mounts, gauges, fuel pump, meth, and tune the damn thing. oh god....new plans...the meet is now a "get edwin's car running"

ok, so the turbo, intercooler piping, gauges, fuel pump, and meth are easy. We could do some of that stuff at the same time too. I could do the fuel pump while you do the intercooler pipe, stuff like that. I want a ride in a 30 series god damn it.
 
a 30 series powered car will be slow until it is tuned....and i dont know how to tune with meth

Im sure my #$%&ING MOTOR MOUNT skills may come in handy

o yeah, edwins a little cheaky bastard and he has a sawzall, I could do that in under two hours...rather than the 12 or whatever it took me. Don't ask how I got the old inserts out because I think I already posted it, and it was the least efficent way to do it, but I don't have power tools so lay off.
 
so i guess ill need to bring the sawzall, sweet....im too lazy to do it anyways. my turbo might be here this week, so if it is....all hell is going to break loose in my garage
 
hey everyone. new to dsmtuners. i would love to make this meet. our sq meets havent been going very well and a couple of us thought to start checking out dsm meets. only thing is no one is really available on saturdays unless they have good enough notice. even with it, we still get alot of flakes. i know on sundays i can get a number of sqs to come. i know im new and have no real standing, but just thought it wouldnt hurt to ask if there was any chance it can be moved one day back to that sun. im not trying to 'bribe' any of you or something. i just know my sq buds would love to make it. if not, i will try to make it there myself. thanks everyone.

ya i know andrew. i actually just visited him this past friday. hes out and has been out of the sq scene for a lil bit due to personal reasons. kinda sad, but people used to always get me confused for him. sad because the reasons were we both are asian, have glasses, from the bay, have names that start with the letter 'a', and drive starions. but ya, oh well. one last question, have any sqs been coming to your dsm meets? thanks.
