I took my heatshield off a few weeks ago and I noticed that I had a loose bolt that came out and was sitting on my turbo, and I'm trying to either find a bolt to reput in, or get a new exhaust manifold...

Is it safe to drive with a missing bolt for a while? I'm trying to locate a bolt and hopefully get it put back in (my current bolt is melted at the tip)

It's a corner bolt, so is this likely that I will hear a 'screech'ing type of noise when pressing the accelerator?

LOL agreed. all three bolts bolting down the heat shield to my mani have been either lost or broken into the thing. it's just sitting there on top of my mani with only the o2 line and a durable wire keeping it on.

and defiant is correct. i lost my AC fan because the guy before me drove with both off for a while and melted the crap out of one of the fins in the fan
