Ok i dont understand this, there are people in my town that are running vented bov's and with only a safc and they run perfect.Like from what everything i read on the forms that isnt right! Can someone explain this to me!

even with a safc, it will run rich between shifts, at the very least... the cars arent running "perfect"

Hmm maybe it wasnt running perfect. I only glanced at there a/f gauge when driving with them once.I was to distraced with the LOUD ass bov. It did sound nice though.hks ssqv. But i didnt feel any stumble in acceleration or any low idle when stoped. Hmm

it may run GOOD, but i garuntee it could run BETTER if it was recirculated. :D

My car ran fine vented.

It ran even better recirculated.

Guess how I run it now? ;)

i vent on weekends and recirc during the commute. ive never felt a difference in the 2. its never stalled during a shift, or at a light(until my iac went out that is).

yes you will run a little reich for about .25 seconds during your shift but it goes away as soon as you hit the gas again. i really dont think running rich for that small period of time will cause a problem in the long run. people have said their plugs showed signs of a rich condition but those people prolly arent stock. so what im saying is if youre stock youll prolly not feel a difference or it wont make a difference, and if youre modded hopefully youll know how to really vent so we wont have to have these conversations.

If you're 100% completely stock i would HIGHLY recommend NOT venting because, unless you have a 1g, your BOV is a peice of shit and will leak air at idle, causing a bad idle.
