2G S90 throttle body

Question about s90 and the fiav housing. As you can see in pictures the metal prong, blade, whatever you wanna call it (circled) thats screwed into the fiav, doesn't fit inside the groove on the throttle body. Amd you can see in pics the groove is much smaller on the s90. Been reading but can't get an absolute answer. How to fix this without fiav block off. I've seen a few pics of the s90 with the fiav so I'm trying to figure it out.

That's for the coolant passage. Why not just remove it?

That's what I was thinking just didn't know if it would affect anything
