Here I am, after some sad moments, I got the light that everyman can develop anything when is determined with mind and spirit to it.

I opened here this forum, as now I will finish my 3 years mitsubishi eclipse (eagle talon) project and I will share the information with all the community of dsmtunners.

I got a cluster from s2000 - 2007 with wire and sockets, I've made some researches and could not find any information to this cluster, also no one in this entire world decided to create and build every module with their own knowledge for this conversion, there is not anything that may adjust this cluster to my eagle, then I decided to create myself everything into a "ECU".

Modfry Guys told me it is on canbus network and obd2 network, but refused to give me any further information in regards this project or they may not know nothing else for this project.

I will do this and as a good Christian, I will share with all people that be interested, e-mail me for the "PDF" conclusion in regards this study.

But testing step by step using my own diagnostics, I could make this cluster almost fully functional, except the temp gauge.

almost all lights, speedo, rpm.... (everything worked wonderfully right and functional)

One step to success, it is the temp gauge, here in this video is the cluster turn on almost fully functional, this video was recorded by me and is my own accent and voice in it, please! english is not my first language so, I try to do my best.

I speak Italian, English and Portuguese.

I am creating a pdf with my own illustration with simple methods, without using the material of anyone as this cluster no one could give me information how it works.

As I've said everything works great, except the temp gauge that I will need to create a circuit to emulate the canbus or obd2 data.

Everything is on final step and the information I need is regarding the coolant "id code and can bus iso number for this s2000 2007 interface.

This is everything I need to finish the circuit layout that I am going to install in a box similar to an ecu with the full conversion from Mitsubishi Eclipse signals for S2000 ap2 2007 cluster.

This smal box will convert the signal and voltages to proper millivoltage for fuel gauge be fully working, it will receive the signal from "DSM ECU ENGINE MODULE" and convert it to can line straight to cluster, without the "ECT" converter (that does not work at all and without the "Speedohealer" as it will be an ECT converter, speedohealer and (obd2 or canbus converter) into one circuit programmed in as much "pic" microchips it needs, it will be a single circuit that will emulate everything delivering the signals on wires to the cluster in another side of socket box, making the full job without spending money to this ect converter, speedohealer and equipment to make the fuel gauge be working.

It is based in a circuit programmed in pic language that will also do the speedo healing fix to correct the car speed for this change and also to adjust the speed when someone change the diameter of wheels and tires using with a gps to catch the real speed, then adjusting + or - based on speedo from gps speed.

I will include everything into one single box and now in order for me to finish this project, I need to know:

1#CAN BUS LINE ISO NUMBER FOR S2000 AP2 2007 SYSTEM???

2#"ID CODE AND INPUT FREQUENCY VARIATION TO MAKE COOLANT TEMP BAR-GRAPH CURVE?

3#WHAT ARE THE PIN-IN TO IT?

4#"ID CODE FOR EXTERNAL TEMPERATURE AND ID CODE FOR "OIL LIFE PERCENTAGE".

Once I finish to the happyness of this community and all good christians and non christian hearts, I will share the full project with anyone that need this.

Somebody told me that the secret of success is to hide the sources, but I understand this as mental masturbation not sharing information with other people.

I see how greatful an enthusiast of this car could be and many other enthusiast if they had everything needed into a pdf without spending money with that ect converter and speedohealer and hours and hours of researches like I did for nothing and many of this enthusiasts ordered this ect converter and it were "USELESS".

This "pdf" will press people to be more humble and share their ideas.

THIS "PDF" WILL HAPPEN AS SOON I FINISH MY PROJECT.

I want to be rated for this if you like my project and as soon I finish this project, I will put videos like I did in this thread.

Yep ... I did some reverse engineering, and learned with precision how a canbus iso9141-vpw works and I managed to order from heavens the parts for this stuff, also I got the assembler microchip code ready ..... it works great, but as all the kukichaishangue will copy and sell my hard pain ass, I must know everyone that wants it!

kukishaishangue mean arse that bleed!
 
I m joking, the problem is that some kukichaishangui always copy in a very low quality .... so, if I reveal, the kukichaishangui bastardds will make thousand of this converter as they cant create their stuff, they mus t copy, the stuff is:

American create .... Japanese make it small and kukichaishangui copy it with a very low quality!


It was a wonderful time to study and understand how something can work with one wire and a ground ... also to understand the different voltage levels that forms signals to communicate with noodes on all the network evolved in this process....

Definetely this coolant was the most hardest project I ever decrypted as Japanese lock theyself in a room and die there for months to create something nice.

They are the most top smart people ...


Japanese Engineers are the bosses! here they must take all my pride as the best things on world are the Japanese that create and some other useless culture without knowledge to create things like to copy their stuff.

I am just finishing my Eagle Talon in a couple of days, I am working hard in it and later on, I am going to post some pictures of all this project.

There is not on all the world a single bastard as me that could reverse engineering the coolant temp gauge and mode it on fiber glass to fit the console on a dsm mitsubishi eclipse with engine 4g63 turbo totally rebuild with frontal wide intercooler.

Bumpers modified and many many other stuff to make this car really precise.

My god man you are amazing. I just sat here for the past 2 hours going threw this thread watching the vid's and scanning the links and doing a little research of my own. If i buy the required things for you to make a ap2 completely plug-n-play and mail it to you could you assemble it for me. I have a 92 Talon tsi and man ill probably be dreaming about this tonight! LOL SUBSCRIBED!!
 
There is a reviewed forum that I opened on hondatech as this cluster is from a honda s2000, it is much much more complete .... if you want to learn alittle bit about canbus go there:

Buddy, I always try to help people ... give me some months, I can make it for you, the hardest part is that I must make the board for my project .... I need to make it using some special method .... the microchip is a motorola with a micro socket QFP52, you can search in internet this ...

also in order to be compatible, I did mounted this in a circuit board using the Mc33290 canbus microchip .... with some many parts, resistors ... caps (I used tantalum), as it is more precise.

Then ..... the final step now was to adjust it to my actual coolant sensor, but my engine is not working ..... as I live in Brazhell and here nothing can be done and there is no part, for every stolen part, I need to wait some months.



but I did ordered some items from a Mexican in USA, he was just fine but never sent me the missing items .... the cas and the other bits I was needing for my car, the guy took two months to help me find what was missing, all the time he was asking for money .... money ...

And all this just pissed me off, I am just tired of crook people around me, I always try to do my best on what I do, working 24 hours on my stuff and then come people like this.

There is people that only can live scamming people and they are so slow that when they were borned, the doctors should to force them out their mother as they dont wanted to get out.

Yea a lot of people now a days want money anyway they can get it. And to be honest if i got everything required to do this and shipped it to you i would still give you money for it. It wouldn't sit right with me knowing all the time and effort you have put in it to not give you something in return. Also it will be a little while before i can get the $$ to get everything needed. But once i do i will for sure be in touch!
 
Ok people, it will be a pain on ass for everyone of you order all the bits and send me, I got material to make still more 4 units of this converter.

The hardest part to make is the circuit board as any other method work than using photographic emulsion to make the print on copper.

So ..... it is alot of job to make and I worked alot today on my car, so I am just tryng to finish this eagle talon and just move other projects...........................

I did modded today my both ckp\cmp signal for a black top and it works pretty perfect wonderful and nice, then I am just rebuilding all the stuff in the car as the technicians that was working in it they just messed everything, the turbo lubricating was not properly fitted, it was leaking oil.

Then all we got now is to wait some weeks,

Buddy this project just pissed my face, as you don't have idea how hard is to learn how a canbus works from the scratch without any support of people about the project, it seems that people signed documents when they did the course that they were not going to post nothing on forum about canbus iso9141 vpw with commands interface J1850.........

So it is a mess those configurations and settings, it is really weird for some normal person, but when we want something, we must to concentrate hard in it.

Well, I am gona take a shower, today just worked very hard in this project and I am pretty dirty, stinking and tired ........

I will post pictures once it is finished, I am sure all of you will really enjoy my fast and furious.
 
It has:

full canbus hardware with adjustment possibility, you can edit your coolant sensor with your resistance settings.

Speedometer adjustment 10% to 100% slower or faster as it will be necessary for you to correct the frequency that it works using a GPS to see your real speed.

Fuel level adjustment to eagle talon (mitsubishi eclipse fuel level). (I need to make some changes for people to use on another cars.

Full conversion of wires from cluster to all the mitsubishi eclipse, you just need to "plug and play",


The only part that we should to study better is how can we find someone able to make the support to this cluster fit the eclipse cluster hole???

I was thinking in something of injected plastic, can some one tell me if they can make it?

Anyway ..... I did mine on fiber glass, but it is a pain on ass to make it also.
 
There is two ways to get money this days, first is to lock your self to the world until you learn something useful for the humanity and other to crook others, to steal ........ and doing all the wrong methods to scam people.
 
I am almost to post videos of this great challenge; it was to make a cluster of s2000 ap2 with engine coolant on can bus iso9141 TO WORK ON MISTUBISHI ECLIPSE 1995.

It was the hardest project I ever done on my life, as I developed something that is restricted this days and not only the hardware is hard, but also the software and how messages are sent on a can bus network.

For you to create a simulator of can bus, you will need a microchip with can bus pinout, you must use a Chrystal oscillator, then you must find out the voltage signal amplitude of the other device you want to connect, (I recommend to use the exactly same can transceiver microchip) than the device you want to connect and make the diodes and resistor in accordance with datasheet.


One port of this microchip must be used as analog to digital converter (this is the port that will read the variable resistance from coolant engine block sensor), the resistance value will change in accordance of temperature readed!

This range must be set in accordance with your ECT engine …..

Then, the goal was to develop:

Protection circuit anti-surge for the mcu with can to the mcu doesn’t surge!

Engineering of right circuitry to send the can messages with the compatible can transceiver

Engineering of the circuitry to read the coolant resistance variation to mcu a\d input

Adding rs232 to com port.

Now the hardest part …

Set the chip to convert the coolant readed on sensor into digital numbers
Set the chip to send messages can bus in the way the cluster is prepared to understand and enable the shift register.

Engineering of another MCU circuit to COUNT the original pulses with input and with ability to multiply of divide numbers in order to increase or decrease PULSES TO the readed speed.

Engineering of a copper board with all the cluster wires attached to it and converting to Mitsubishi eclipse (eagle talon), 2g system TO ECLIPSE CLUSTER SOCKET.

NOW TO COMPLETE I MUST FIND OUT THE THERMISTOR RESISTOR OF OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE SENSOR OF FRONT BUMPER OF S2000 AP2 2007
 
This is a pretty awesome project. Hopefully when you're done with it, and you have everything figured out 100%, you can write up a nice how-to guide. I'm sure that there are tons of people that would like to do this.

I don't see it happening for my 1G, however.

Can somebody tell me what kind of signal is the mitsubishi eclipse 1995 with F5M33 manual transmission has? It is confused for me .......... still could not catch that!

speedometer signal now is missing.....anybody knows details about the signal?

Don't Quote me as I need to check my notes, where ever they are, but it is the same type of signal that most imports produce for the VSS; same as Hondas.

It is quite different and complicated this signal, as the vss sensor on transmission has 3 pins, one is 12vdc, other is ground ... and the middle is the signal, the signal is a ground signal between 5v-0v... it is 4 pulses (4 times the ground turn on) for every revolution.

Now the issue is that the Engine ECU and the Cruise ECU has a signal wired to this signal ground in the middle, it is a 5 volts signal both two ecus understand a "pulse", when that 5vdc signal goes into a near zero voltage .....

The solution for that I found is using a PNP transistor, it must be PNP as it means "POSITIVE, NEGATIVE, POSITIVE" with a resistor of 1k in its base junction, when the sensor generate the ground negative .... it will bring the vref voltage to ground making all devices that is listening to the voltage understand that there is a pulse ....

Then, all the time it receive a pulse of ground on "B", it will make the emitter near zero volts thus generating the signal.

I've checked the VSS of honda s2000 cluster ap2 year 2007 and it has a 5vref built in the own vss input, so this means ....

We just put the VSS input on emmiter of transistor and the collector to ground, then all the time when the 4hz per gear turn it will bring the vref voltage to ground 4hz thus generating the proper signal.

Keep in mind that the honda cluster needs 28hz per 1kmph .... you will not be able to generate this frequency whatsoever just removing the sensor from the transmission and spinning it with hand, I tried and just lost 3 days creating circuits thinking it was some problem withing the other devices that must receive the correct pulse ....

I just made a video ... using a drill to spin the sensor!

Now the issue is to create a converter, that will multiply the 4hz to final 28hz, it must multiply 4x7=28 this means that the multiply factor is "7" to heal the gap difference!

I found the pic16f88 very good option, but I am still trying to program a hex I found over the net and it is giving errors when I try to upload the hex into the microcontroller, I am using the willem 5.0c and the icprog to upload the hex into the microcontroller....

It seems that it is something related to the voltages or ports on widows xp, I found that must install a software called "totalio" and "LOADDRV" in the "c:\windows\system32\drivers\" installing it c:\windows\system32\drivers\totalio.sys then starting the service on start or stop, but it is still giving erros of privilege instructions and it could not sort the problem to that release the addresses, but I could not make it work properly and all the time get errors on "0000h" on any kind of software I try to use, winpic800 ... or even the own willem 0.98d8 5.0c I got that came together my universal willem burner I've ordered.

The next step will be to confirm testing the voltages that arrive into the micro-controller socket pins, I am going to make it now and see if we got any luck on finding out what the problem is!

I cold see here in Brazil how expensive the people charge for a not good job ... maybe they think jst because have a eclipse people are rich! never saw on all my life a contry that charged more taxes than Brazilllllllllllllll.
