Almost done rebuild

Almost done, It was tough because it my first time rebuild. Now I have to clean inside my hood and paint it baby blue same color as the body. But im just showing off little bit of my 420a motor. What you think guy?:D

looks nice but i would consider thinking over that timing cover, one rock in the wrong place and you are gonna have a bad day
 
Yeah your right. I thought about that but little good new is that 420a is very close to right side wall so less percentage of the rock get into timing belt.
 
Looks good. But with all the work into it y wouldnt you cover it? Or at least up to the cam gears if you want ppl to see them.
 
youre going to want a cover. just trim the top off if you want to see the gears. no protection that low is asking for a t-belt catastrophe. cheap insurance for you.

other than that, looks nice. is it stock? one of these days id like to do another GS, but a cloud car (2.4) swap and supercharge it. be a fun sleeper. good job man, good luck on the install.

I try look for the clear cover for my 420a but cant find it. I will figure it out later. Well this motor is somewhat stock. I have another 420a motor that going to be my second rebuild and that motor is going to be my powerful. Im thinking doing all motor or turbo it on my next project. :hmm:
