S-afc II sensor check readings

Hi, I just installed my safc II and I am confused about the readings that show up when I select "sensor check" under the etc. menu. My throttle is fine it goes up to 100% as it should. My knock is inaccurate, but I also have a 2g and I am aware that the safc cannot monitor knock correctly on a 2g without extra equipment. My main question is.. What is In-1 and In-2? I have read that the blue wire mod will make the In-2 read your o2 voltage. I have not done this mod nor will I. I know the ill side effects. In-2 must be directly related to the blue wire on the safc harness. Mine is not connected but I am still getting .01-.015V when I do a sensor check. The biggest mystery is what the hell is the In-1? It goes up as I press the gas but at idle, the reading is .03 and won't go any higher than .1 when it's WOT. Is this normal and what should the readings be at? Thanks

Keep in mind that the SAFC's interpretation of TPS value is incorrect. You need a logger to determine the actual TPS percentage.

According to the SAFC manual, In-1 is "Airflow Sensor Voltage 1 / Pressure Sensor Voltage"

In-2 is "Airflow Sensor Voltage 2 / For a Twin Airflow Car Only"

If your MAS frequency is being displayed properly I wouldn't worry about what the sensor check says. The only thing I ever used that for was to check out the TPS voltage. If everything is working properly, I would forget about In-1 and In-2.

Oh, and just so you know, bumping your own threads is a violation of the rules. You have to remember that there might not be someone online that knows the answer to your question for a day or two. Sometimes you just have to be patient.
