I have an S-AFC II and I was wondering if there was any good set-ups. I tried one but it was for an DSM with a FMIC and 550 fuel pump (which I don't have), so it made my engine smell like BBQ. Really Bad BBQ. :barf: So if anyone has ideas, I'll take 'em.

You can't just take different peoples setting because there is so many factors that are involved in tuning.. Like the elevation and if you have the same performance parts as another that doesn't mean their tune will work on yours..

Also you need to invest in a datalogger if you want to tune ( that is if you haven't got one already )..

Two cars with exactly the same mods will still have different tunes. With those mods you have and tuning you will still need a datalogger to tune your car (great investment by the way).

a quick tune can be had following the RRE SAFC tuning link. IE found here: http://www.roadraceengineering.com/newafc.htm about half way down. as Khill stated no 2 cars are the same, expecially when your setup is no way simlar to the one your using as a baseline, now before anytuning it is ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA to have some sort of logger. Some people say that tuning can be done without one, but some people also play with loaded guns? If you do not have a logger ask around to your local DSM chapter and see if someone is willing to let you borrow theirs, I lend mine out all the time and they usually buy me lunch as a thank you.

As RRE states in another SAFC link in their tech articals, "the single things that affect the SAFC settings the most is injector sizing" which you having stock injectors and the baseline you used having 550's WITH a FMIC (which allows you to lean it out a bit since you have cooler denser air in the intake charge) I would estemate you were running around 18% or so, to lean in tha amount of fuel you were trying to deliver. There is also a great basic tuning guide in this forum found here: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58403

Dam I type slow, good job Dream on.

Considering you have the Stock Injectors, leave it at 0...
That's right, if your car isn't running right, find the problem/problems and fix them instead of trying to cover them up with the safc. Zero out of remove the safc until you upgrade your injectors and have logging capacity.
