Hey guys.
So I just replaced my valve cover gasket, and now my car is running terribly. When I first started up the car, it had a rough start up and idled lower than usual. It was also running super rich compared to normal (normal-16s, today-12s). It almost sounded like it was missing because it's was somewhat "bogging". I made sure my plugs were ok and that I didn't mess up the firing order. I can't hear any boost/vacuum leaks, but I haven't had a chance to do a BLT. I'm almost positive it's not a leak, considering it was running perfectly right up until I replaced the gasket.
A buddy and I just took it for a spin, and it's still running like crap. The symptoms appear to be vacuum leak related, as my idle started to go higher than usual and my rpms would stick while trying to shift. It's still running very lean and is still "bogging" and being sluggish. And on a 3rd gear WOT pull, my AFRs started at 14.5 and went up from there. This is crazy considering just last night, I made a few 3rd gear WOT pulls and my AFRs jumped straight to 11.0 and didn't budge.
Can anyone offer up some insight or a possible solution?
Thanks.
