running rich and bad idle

Ok, so i bought a 95 gsx about a month ago and I am having some problems that i still haven't figured out. I am still fairly new to DSMs so bear with me. It is a 95 gsx with a 14b turbo tuned with DSMlink v2.5 (supposedly by AMS) at 18 psi. It has a 1g non-recirculated bov. No-name FMIC. Only mods to the fuel system are FIC 650s. I believe it has a 6 bolt swap. The kid i bought it from wasnt sure. It appears to be either a 6 bolt or an early 7 bolt. Anyway, it runs very rich. My friends have said it looks like a diesel truck when i get on it. I thought the o2 sensor was bad, causing it to be stuck in open loop mode, so i replaced it but it did not fix the problem. It also has a slight idle surge that only occurs after the car is warmed up. I checked the IAC and the FIAV and neither of those are the culprit. I have a feeling it is due to the non-recirculated bov. As for the car running rich, I have no idea. I am planning on putting the car back to stock to see if that fixes the problem. Unless someone on here has any other suggestion. Thanks in advance, TJ.

Recirculate you BOV and see if that clears things up. DSM's are suppose to have recirculated bov unless your running a blow through maf.

Depending on how it was tuned you will probably need to recirculate it. You are losing air from the mix and I bet it is from the BOV venting to the atmosphere.

Check for boost leaks as well, that maybe the problem if you're running rich.

Put it back to stock? If you have DSMlink do some logs and fix your issues. It needs a proper tune to run correctly.

ok first off you BOV not being recirculated is not causing the idle problem....a BOV is doing absolutley nothing at idle. Blow Off Valve- vents excessive air when the throttle is shut while making boost. there for the only time the bov will have an effect on the way your car runs is in between shifts and/or you let out of the throttle. and for you running rich ### are your AFR's ?
