Okay. So I tried searching the forums about what to do but couldn't find anything on it. Well here goes:

I have a '95 GSX with AEM fuel rail, AFPR, stock injectors, stock turbo, and 4" exhaust. So I installed a FP gauge on the fuel rail and it said that I was running at 40psi with the vac hose connected. I disconnected the vac hose and it still stayed at constant 40psi. So then I tried adjusting the AFPR but nothing happened; the psi stayed the same. I was able to rail the pressure but wasn't able to lower it. I even had the screw pretty much all the way out.

Anyone have an ideas on what I can do? I'm thinking about swapping the fuel rail back to the stock one because I'm still running the stock T25. If so, is anyone on here selling their stock fuel rail with the stock FPR?

Your wanting to replace your fuel rail because your afpr won't REGULATE the fuel pressure properly. If your afpr is an AEM then it came with a few internal fittings. You need to put in the more restrictive one so it can regulate your fuel back down to the stock base fuel pressure. Don't blame your pretty anodized fuel rail for something it has no control over, its not its fault the afpr isn't doing its job. :)

I bought the car used from a friend and the AFPR has no markings or labels. Should I invest in an AEM AFPR so I can get the more restrictive internal fitting?

In your profile it says AEM afpr? Well that sucks you don't have the parts it came with. Was it set and holding 43.5psi with no vacuum line attached and then dropping to 37psi when it was connected before?

Yeah sorry I was editing my profile on my iPhone and it accidently put AEM AFPR in it. And about the psi, it was holding a steady 40 psi with the van hose disconnected then I connected the vac hose back on and the psi stayed at 40.

sounds like the afpr is dead . there is vac at the hose correct ? if u have vacuum at the line , and when connected its not pulling the pressure down its bad . should lower the fuel press with vacume , and raise when boost pressure is applied

Yeah there is a vac hose. The FP doesn't change at all if the vac hose is connected or disconnected.

then the regulator is dead . u can usually get em rebuilt but since you dont know what brand it is ..... your prob s.o.l.
