1G running on 3 cylinders

Alright here's the short story----- Took the car out the other day around the local roads, made a couple of good pulls in 3rd, ran into fuel cut around 4500-5000 so I decided to head home. Pulled into neighborhood and began to run really poorly, sounded like I was minus a cylander. Pulled plugs and cleaned them well (getting tuned soon no need to waste money on new plugs yet?) All plugs were extremely fouled, 2nd plug in from timing belt was covered in oil. That tells me the spark plug grommet is leaking? After I cleaned plugs I replaced them and it idled even worse, sounded like it was running on 2 cylanders. I plan on buying Magnecor 10mm wires to replace existing 8.5's. What else could be causeing this? I thought coilpacks but they are supposed to be new. Please FEEDBACK.

Im afraid that its gonna run like crap until you put new plugs in it anyway. Because you say that you had one soaked in oil. Cleaning them doesnt do much good when the problem lies down in the plug between the porclen, and the electrode, and your not gonna be able get that clean. Try the plugs first.

Thank you for replying, i'm thinking about buying coil on plug from slowboy racing instead of wires. I probably do need new plugs but right now i'm averaging 50 miles to the tank and EGT'S around 800C at 4500-5000. I'm also waiting on dsm link 1g b/c the super AFR is a pain in the butt to adjust. Any suggestions until then?

had somewhat a similar problem and it ended up being my spark plug wires...
