Hey guys I'm in big trouble here.

The other day I checked the compression on my car after I put my head back on and it read 140 across the board (different story), I wanted to make sure my gauge was working properly so I asked my friend if I could check it out on his NA. I took out the spark plugs and disconnected the injectors and check comp and got 180 all 4. So good news for him and bad news for me.

After I put the plugs back in and went inside and he was leaving his car didn't want to start. I had forgotten to plug the injectors back up. :ohdamn:. After it turned on and he drove away for he calls me up and tells me his CEL light turned on and its running like crap, "what the f did you do to my car?". Check the code and it reads misfire in cylinder #1. Changed out the plugs with new ones and still doing the same, check out ohms on the injectors and the were all to spec and all "clicking"/ so they are working? Check compression again and it read the same 180.

Now im stumped and really pissed. What else should I check?

Stupid maintenance! Lol o well. Now I feel free again now that I have this huge weight lifted off my shoulders. It was the stupid plug wires btw. Thanks for the replies guys.:thumb:
They can definitely be a pain in the rear.

Just make sure to always pull at the boot, and NOT the wire when removing. Also, giving them a twist while pulling sometimes helps them release their seal on the plug.

Glad you got it figured out on your friends car though.
