You're going to have to give a lot more information if you want us to be able to help you out. That could be due to hundreds of different things. Is this happening at idle? Going around corners? Only when you get into boost? Does it smell rich? Are there any other problems that you're experiencing? Any details at all would help.

Clogged CAT? Just need more information please.

Well it slowly dies it runs for awhile I turned up the idle a bit and that seemed to help a bit it's also smoking Alittle

Head gasket it sounds like to me, it's time to either have the coolant tested for exhaust gases, or a cylinder leak down test. Is it white smoke, cause that is usually coolant, that would also explain the temp rising and the loss of power and rough running. Well you said its dying out, be careful not to ruin the motor, get out there and check it out. If the smoke is blue it's oil.

I don't know forsure if it's overheating or not really cause my temp gauge (stock one) is fluctuating and ya it's real light white smoke and the car just got a new head gasket 30k ago

Head been resurfaced? Block decked, what type of h/g was used? If you go to auto zone you can rent a c.l.t kit and find out of your pressurizing the cooling system. Did you re torque the head bolts after a few heat cycles?

Good comment about the head studs. When I got my car the PO said "You might want to check the head stud torque". Well EVERY nut bolt or screw under the hood that you could see was loose so I concentrated on straightening all of that out and had all but forgot about the head studs until my son reminded me. I pulled the VC and started on them and man where they loose, approx 65 ft/lbs. so I torqued and torqued until I got them to 105 ft/lbs and glad I did because if I had started boosting much I would have surely blown the MLS gasket out and that is probably what saved it up to that point. Easy to check so +1 on that.

Nice, gotta love it when out actually works out in your favor. I hate when people act like dsm's are pieces of junk cause people don't know how to take care of any car. Good luck man, happy boosting LOL.

Super happy for you.

I've owned Hondas, toyotas , Mazda's but I love and always will love my dams. A lot of people over look the headstuds needing to be retorqued. They figure oh I'm done. I had a buddy who did a headgasket on his b16a and didn't torque the head studs at all. All he did was tighten them down as much as he could. Needless to say his hg didn't last very long.
