Running A/c without an a/c fan?

i bought my laser a couple months ago, and the guy who owned it before me took off the a/c belt, and the a/c fan and left the compressor on it. lately its been cooling down a bit but the temp has still been up in the 100's.

i went and bought a new a/c belt the other day, but i noticed that my fan wont fit in the car with my intercooler piping that i have just done.

would it be safe to run a/c without having the a/c fan?

why not hook the belt up and see if the car overheats without the fan? my guess is yes. if he took the belt off i wonder if the rest of the system/ coolant of the system is even left

he toke the belt off to try to gain an extra few HP. i also did the same and i toke my stock fan out. just buy a 12 inch slim line fan and wire everything up. it will also cool your radiator down faster with both fans on. you could also hook a switch up to tun the a/c fan on with out the a/c being on

Mine is the same way....fan will not fit anymore but your car may have an overheating problem like mine because it gets hot trying to run the a/c

Or you can build up too much pressure in your AC lines and blow something up.

Well, my car is na but I ran mine like that for about a week. My car had no overheating problems but my a/c wasn't as cold as it is now with a new fan on.

ill hook up the belt and test it out, i cant really afford a slim line fan right now. ill post results.

all the other parts of the system on are on the car, he just pulled the belt and the fan.
