the inlet would not bolt up to the stock manifold. the turbo is also facing the wrong direction so you would have to have to fabricate an intake, IC piping, downpipe etc. clearance would be an issue as well.

anybody got the time and money to get this turbo and try to fabricate everything to fit a 2g eclipse?that would be cool haveing a 2g with a evo 8 turbo in it. :dsm:

Why?

You want to spend $1000+ on a new EVO 8 from mitsu (because they are nowhere else), then pay hundreds more for an adapter plate (which i wouldnt use) or a custom manifold that's probably more expensive than a T4?

For a 16g?

PASS.

wiseman.

The EVO8 turbo is a twin scroll turbo also and the way the flange and exhaust housing are configured it wouldnt fit at all under the hood of a DSM. Not enough room. Also it does sit in the opposite direction. I personally would invest the money in "bolt-on" proven turbos for probably half the price.
