I'd dig around evolutionm.net forums for used wheels... I picked up my Advan RGII 17x9+29 for much much less than you'd get for new, and wheels that will be sold for evos will clear most big brakes.

Agreed, that's where I found my 17x9 +35 RE30's, and I'm pretty sure they'll clear any brakes on the market that can fit with 17's.

As for the tires, they are 245/40/17 Hankook Ventus EVO V12 and they clear the rear knuckle with no problem

Perfect thread. I've been looking around all over for something similar to this. I have the Baer track kit (13" rotors) and I want rpf1's and I can't figure out a wheel width, offset, and tire size that will work without rolling my fenders. I want 245-40-17. Was hoping they'd work. I have the hankook ventaus evo v12 as well.

So realistically speaking I'm looking for a set of these wheels but what offset would I need to run my Brembos and without the wheels sticking out? I refuse to run any spacers. 17"X9" preferred.

You cannot run these wheels without some poke in order to clear brembos. Ive tried, trust me. Only offset that clears brembos with no problem are 17's or 18's with a +15 offset. A +18 might clear as well but no promises. These wheels are long gone, i got tired of using spacers. Got some Volks now

Wouldn't a good bet be if it fits an evo then it should fit with the brembos. Then also have to consider knuckle clearance and fender rub.

Most I did look up were 17x8 +35 or 17x8.5 +30 though. I guess the extra .5 in width is what got you in trouble? Knuckle clearance?

17x8 are a totally different spoke pattern than 17x9. 8 are more of a rounded spoke which help clear brembos while 9 are more of a flat/straight spoke. My last set of these wheels were 18x9.5 +15 on 265/40/18.... Man was that a joke, poked out like 3 inches

I'm thinking about those wheels. RPF1 in that same size 17x9 +35. I have big brakes and run both EVO 9's and Gram Lights in 17x8 and I have lots of brake clearance. I'm running Wilwood 6 piston calipers with 2 piece 13.1 x 1.10 rotors and 4 piston rear calipers with 2 piece 13.1 x .95" rotors.

These are probably my favorite wheels for the price, cant beat them. However, they suck when it comes to clearing big brakes. Your going to need a spacer if you want to run this offset, especially with a 6 piston
