Okay guys once again time for you to help me out. So of course finally when i get all my parts for my turbo install my car starts doing this. When ever its at idle it acts like it wants to die. So i replaced the plugs wires and coil pack, didnt do anything. its weird though under full throtle it runs like a champ, and even when i am going 50mph and put the clutch in and cruise it idles fine but when i come to an actual 0mph stop it starts bogging up and down on me. Please any help, i want to get started on the turbo install asap but dont want to do it untill everything is running right. maybe a mass airflow sensor or vacum leak?

Okay I know this is in the wrong thread but problem diagnoses didnt help, So I just got all my parts for my turbo install guages, clutch, fuel etc... but then this, when ever i start my car and let it idle it starts to bog up and down liek its going to stall. I replaced the coil pack plugs and wires and didnt do anything, so I am clueless, maybe mass air flow sensor, or vacum line? Please help I dont want to do the turbo install if my engine is running bad so its delaying me!!

I have no idea, although i did just get a fuel pressure guage for my turbo install i guess i could hook it up early and find out what the pressure is. But the thing is at full throttle it is fine, runs like a champ so i dont see how it could be the fuel pressure, but i have been hearing a lot about this IAC controller so i took off my throttle body and my intake mani was filthy inside along witht he IAC

the inside of the intake will be filthy because of the egr valve
so that might not necessarily be the problem
any CELS

No guys im not turbo yet, so i have no FMU, but would my fuel filter possibly be the cause? i hope so that is much better than some expensive part

sorry i didn't read your thread right. it sounds like a fuel problem to me. check all the fuel system parts and go from there. prolly your filter. if it gets cloged a little the car will have trouble at low fuel pressure times like at idle. when you press the gas the pressure builds up and the car will run better. thats my guess.

change the fuel filter and see if that fixes it, if not, then you have a new fuel filter and you know what isnt the problem :dsm:

yeah sounds like a good idea, mine as well change it cant hurt and i dont know when the last time it was changed so i will try that this weekend i guess but anyother ideas guys, and where is the best place to get a fuel filter
