Removed my Cruise Control... now I have a rough Idle. The car alternates between 1K and 1.5K RPMs.

What did I do wrong? Or may it be a defective TPS?

A bad tps will not cause idle surge, I would recheck what you had to do to remove the cc, maybe you knocked off a vacuum line or something.
