2G rough/bogging idle please help !!!

hi. i have a 97 gst 5speed. its been a year of hell.

my stock ecu washed the walls of my stock 4g63 motor so i took my car into a shop. and they got me a j spec motor from oska. the motor did not go 300 miles b4 it got rod knock and blew. so we sent it back. now the new motor is in with a ported and polished and cleaned head. i got a new turbo from slowboy racing its a 16g just a lil better then the stock one. and now a sceal on that went from some reason and its blowing oil into my exaust. thats a big problem. Also my idle is messed up real bad and i cant figure out why. its rpm's go from 8k to around 12. and the motor it self sounds like it wants to die but dosent. it bogs real bad to the point of where its wants to die. but when i drive it it drives fine with no problem but when i stop at a light or stop sign it tries to die but dosnt. can anyone tell me why or any idea of why PLEASE.

Do a full vaccum leak test, check the coils of your ISC, if that goes dead your car will idle surge etc. if your car is idling at 8k i would not drive it. also check your throttle position sensor.

I think he means 800 to 1200rpm.

yeah I sure hope he means 800-1200. Do a boost leak test also since it sounds like you're strapping all new stuff on from scratch.
