I learned the hard way today that you can't roll a shell around without the axle supporting the bearing. Now my car is sitting half way down the driveway without a wheel since the bearing broke and it came off. I need to deal with this asap.

There's no motor or trans in the car right now, so bolting the axles in and rolling it isn't really an option after I replace the bearing. Is there a way to support the bearing so I can roll it without axles? I thought about finding a junk axle set and installing just the spindle side, but I don't have a set and not sure where to find one on short notice.

A bolt with 2 washers and a nut. Put bolt through hub with washer on each side and tighten up. Washers have to be big enough to catch and hold bearing together. This is in the haynes manual and fsm
