This friday I picked up some new rotors and pads all the way around. The rears are from the dealer as they are the vented ones.
since the install, I heard a grinding from the left rear on right hand turns.
I removed the caliper and bracket, and the rotor on the inside where it covers over the E brake shoes is rubbing on the very bottom of the cup. Thought maybe rust, so I wire brushed it as much as possible, brake cleaned, as much as possible.
replaced the wheel and checked for bearing play just in case and no movement at all! Not even slightly.
And the noise still persists, swapped rotors, and the noise continues. at the same place.
tapped with a hammer thinking maybe it was bent. and the noise is still there. anyone ever have this issue? possible solutions?
Thanks
