RFL Questions

I was thinking about buying an RFL from my friend and wanted to know if they were universal or not. He drives a VW GTI and said hed give it to me for $80. Also, i have an intercooler on the way wit 2.5 piping and what else would i need besides the RFL..like any flanges or anything or can i just have any shop weld it to the UICP and gasket? Thanks

On the IC pipes you have coming that you ordered... Which BOV flange do you have on the upper ic pipe already?

I havent ordered any piping yet im having a guy custom make it for me.

Just get a 1G or recirc'd HKS.

RFL's are about useless.

ya man just get that RFL welded to the upper intercooler pipe and its all good

you might want to look into a GM MAF with a blow thru setup so that RFL BOV can be vented properly....but at the same time some cars run ok vented and some dont...ive been venting my greddy type s for about 7 months now and everything is fine, my car never stalls but it does run rich in between shifts...but i learned how to drive it like that tho so it doesnt really affect me at all
