You see how my bov is like smushed into my fuse box... They wont seperate enough to put on a hose

But on my bov, it looks like its welded to my UICP...But I realized there is set screws holding it on....do all i need to do, is take off the set screws put on a new bov, (do i need a flange) And hook the hoses back up, and get a recircualtion hose.

what could I do to make room?

I read a thread once where someone moved their fuse box with no ill effects. Or you could try cutting off the horn on the BOV in order for a smaller and more flexible hose to fit.

I cant see rippen at the thing, Id rather just buy a new one, I wanted to just do it today, see if it makes a huge difference...I think im going to just have to put in an order.

If you are just going to recirculate it why dont you just get a 1g stocker? Just a suggestion because you aren't going to get that psssst noise any more. And the RFL isn't that good of a BOV high boost will open it. The stock 1g is good for 25 psi.

im looking for a 1g bov right now. Im not sure what I want to get but they seem the best for the price.

I can't find the specific link with instructions on how to relocate the box, but I remember them saying that it only took "10 minutes." I think all they did was move it to the firewall with new brackets.

Here's another link in which they relocate the box into the glove box. Thus would obviously take more time.

I just looked up the RFL. I hadn't realized how expensive it was - cutting it is out of the question then. You can find the 1G BOV on eBay for only like $30.

im goin to get one, next pay check. Ill resell the RFL...Shit I just want what I gotta pay for a 1g bov

Actually, it's good to around 20 psi. Anything more than that and it'll leak. Crushing it to hold 19in./hg of vacuum (with a MityVac) or running the DejonTool/Dodge Garage mod will also help it hold more boost pressure.

Well the only reason I said 25 Is because that is what I am running w/ it and not a problem. Sorry that I forgot to point out crushing it but that is one of the first things I did. I always forget the basics. I guess sometimes different setups and conditions make everything work different like one mod might give one person X amount of gain and might cause power loss in anotherto many variables.
