The best "BOV SOUND" when recirculating?

Okay I've read 99% of the posts where members are tearing each other apart on whether the engine runs crappy and all about the GM MAF and the translator. However I dont feel the need to change out the MAF and buy a 150+ translator just so I can let others hear my BOV.... So hands down, which is the best sounding or loudest BOV when using it in recirculation?

The Type S sounds great. I don't have one myself, but I have friends that do. One of my friend's sounds like a whistle, the other sounds like a whoosh of air. I'm not sure which is the "true" sound, but it's a good BOV.

my recirculated 1g bov uncrushed can be heard like 2 blocks away. Air filter, home made 2.25in intake. Louder then my boys type S on his 1g.

haha i got a PIT RFL blowoff and damn its loud but i dont like it anymore . getting a HKS SSQ kit with the upper intercooler piping and prob doing the reciculation kit to it.

I don't like the Type S. They need occasional adjusting to run correct and I don't think they sound that good.

I think the sound you're looking for, is that when I pass you during oncoming traffic in a switchback on a Rocky Mtn pazss in inclement weather... it sounds most incredible...

BTW Buddy recommended a DSM thats the only reason I bought one

So many ppl running the type-s's well 2 of my cousins have type-s's in there cars and they sound great but I just wanna be different and im going with the HKS one and heard them and they sound so sweet, what did u mean by removing the sound insert myblackgst? I am currently running the blitz now which is vented..and it sounds aight not as cool as a type s though.
