I have a 1995 Eagle Talon TSI AWD. So far the mods I have on my car is a K&N FIPK, a RNR turbo back exhaust with cat & the O2 housing is replaced by having the downpipe replacing it & a DPN manifold. The problems are that when I accelerate through any of the gears, it doesn't want to go past 4000rpm but if I slowly accelerate it can go up to 5000 or more but after that it hestitates, back fires & the car just bogs down. After driving for awhile the car's idle stays at 2000rpm. I've also replaced the plugs with NGK iridiums & MSD ignition wires. What could be the possible issue that I can resolve this? I talked it over with a Service dude at the Chrysler dealership & he said it's the vacuum pressure. Now I just like to know where to look at or where to begin. Any help would be much appreciated! Before I put the mods on it had the similar problem but now it's much more intense if that is a proper way to put it but I thought it could've been the wires but nope not at all. Thanks you for taking your time reading this & again any advice is very much appreciated!
