I've been wanting to ask people on this forum that I rev my car at a high rpm but not going anywhere.

Well every morning I drive my car to school and my car response hard in a good way after a while when its pretty hot it just stops responding to the rpms that I want to give to my car.My car does not have a very good cooling system, a/c blow freakin hot. Once my car is really hot the car really aint going nowhere, ill be reving 5000 rpms and aint even going 10mph.This problem starts occuring like straight 20 minutes of drive. So when the car is warm it work great but once hot it just stops responding. I have 2 bad o2 sensors and was told that its most likey it.

Now same with the clutch. When the car is warm the clutch response once I let the clutch pedal go about 1in. But once it gets hot I have to let go of the clutch pedal even further out. But once really hot I let go of the clutch, I can't even feel the flywheel drop.

This clutch problem of when I can't feel the flywheel drop occurs at the same time when my car doesn't want to give me the rpms I'm asking for.

My car is turbo, just announcing it just in case.

i had this problem when i had a broken cv axle (passenger front) i could puch it full boost and barely move. that could be your problem.. as far as your clutch try bleeding the slave cylinder see if that works.

If your car is running hot it could also be causing the timing to be off for safety reason's. Another thing is once you get going the ecu responds to the o2 readings. And if that is off then power could most likely be out the door.
There are a lot of problems that could cause a turbo car to feel weak...
running hot
bad air/fuel mix
bad wastegate
bad flapper ... like mines... i have a cracked flapper causing me to not boost drastically
and most important of all boost leaks.
I had a slipping clutch before... a really bad slipping clutch.. If it is a slipping clutch you will know it.
Best way to tell is to get the car under a massive load - get moving on an uphill surface preferably, though flat can work, and stick the car in 5th gear at around 30mph or so, then stick the pedal to the floor. If the rev's go up quickly or faster than your speed is moving relative to them, your clutch is slipping. If you just bog down and don't do much of any moving forward, you're all set!

Hope that helps:thumb:

Hmm yeah your right because like when i reverse and I turn the wheel towards the passenger side (right) it does this click sound, and I always here it on the assenger side. How would I fix that?

Rebuild or a new one...
One way to tell is lift the car up. Be sure the wheels are off. Use your hands to push and pull the axle in and out. If there is play most likely it's gone or bad. There should be no movement at all.

Well yeah true their are so many things that cause this problem. So I'm thinking that I check out the cv axle and if the problem still doesn't stop then ill just drop the transmission nd see what I can find. Do you guys know how I can get started onto dropping the transmission. Step by step..
