1G High idle problem

Hey guys I just rebuild the head on my 4g63t 95 GSX and I have an idle problem! I have adjusted my biss screw many times with no luck. When I first start her up she idles perfectly then when she warms up it can go all the way up to 3k! Has anyone else experienced this?

Have you checked for any intake leaks via a boost leak test or some other method?

Yes I replaced all the gaskets. The only test I haven’t done yet is a boost leak test. I’m trying to build a way to put pressure back through the system without harming it. I guess I should have waited to post about this till I get that done. In my mind everything points to a boost leak.

that definitely sounds like a boost/vacuum leak, I'd replace all the hoses and clamps and secure that all turbo and intake manifold bolts/nuts are tight

Let us know what you find. I have a 20 year old Home Depot custom BLT. I’m sure there are some more modern YT videos on how to build one yourself if you want to do that.
