I have a 91 Eclipse GS none turbo 2.0L bone stock with only 64000 miles on it in great condition and the reverse lights do not come on can a reverse light switch from a manual 5 speed trans mission be used in a automatic trans

Hey buddy! First just to let you know, you will get a lot of crap if you do not use proper grammar on here. So try to work on that. Just letting you know not trying to be a dick. And the answer is No. A manual transmission uses a sensor and an auto goes off of the neutral safety switch!

Neutral safety switch part number: BWD # NS38083 $86.94. That's from O'Riellys .

That number will also work for Advance Auto Parts. They stock BWD parts.
