So i installed my arp head studs and torqued down the head but i noticed that the studs were all different heights. I pulled the head off and cleaned up the threads and reinstalled the head studs. Is it okay if i reuse my MLS head gasket for my motor even though i haven't even run the engine yet? It is on my engine stand as we speak. Thanks!

No you need to replace it cause it was already torqued down once. You will run into the chance of it leaking if not. Better safe than sorry. Good luck.

I've reused my cometic HG 3 times along with ARP studs boosting 25psi daily and I've never had a problem with it.

I would not recommend it, just like supremedsm said, once its torqued, you shouldnt reuse it, make sure you are installing your arps with a t-handle hex key to give you strength to ensure they are flush and fully seated. Regular hex keys are not strong enough..

THIS ^ IS WRONG

You don't tighten the Studs them selves AT ALL the hex is for removal only when installing the studs you put them in hand tight an toque down the Nuts ONLY...

I've never personally reused a MLS head gasket but heard of plenty of others that have with success using copper spray...

That said I still wouldn't recommend it unless absolutely necessary...

When i was building my engine I put the head on backward. Torqued them then realized what I did. I used the same head gasket haven't had any problem with but I only have about 100 miles on it.

As long as the block and head have been surfaced I would reuse it but spray some copper spray on it or silver spray paint.
