so i have 3 eagle rods and 3 je pistons the other ones where destroyed when the motor detinated.

my question is can the three pistons/rods be reused?
i dont see anything wrong with them can i just bring them to a shop and get them balanced and buy a new rod/piston? does eagle and je sell singles or just sets? and i need rod caps

I would have a machine shop check out the three rods and pistons to see if they are a okay. As far as purchasing a set of a new rod and piston you'll need to contact each of the manufacturers not a vendor.

Some vedors will sell just one rod... I was able to get one eagle H beam for a decent price through a vendor and i've also seen them ordered from eagle. The rods in my car are a set of used ones where 2 of them seemed like the small bushing was a little rouch so the original owner ordered 2 but only got one... then when i bough them i bought the last one to complete the set. A few thousand miles on the engine and it's still running tops.

As for used JE pistons..now sure where to get one, but i have reused a set in adifferent block with new rings and never had an issue
