Well i got this valve cover from my friend and i noticed it had a small crack, and my dilema is that i wonder if i should put it on or not. I am not sure if there is oil pressure by the cracks, let me know what you think guys. i hope the pics are clear enough.

If you oil pressure is off the charts I would looking it because can damage your engine. Besides that valve cover often cracks but looking at where your cracks are don't over torque the screws and be sure to replace the valve seals when you get a replacement.

thanx for the input, but i hope you read what i wrote. this cover was given to me and i want to put it in my car. i don't know what happened to the other car. my question is it safe to put this in or not with these cracks?

It will leak. And if you run the upper timing cover, you wont even notice your timing belt covered in oil.

He will notice it when he tries to figure out my his motor stopped running because his t-belt slipped. At least that is when I noticed my belt covered in oil on my Laser.
