ok so i put a piece of rubber hose on the tube. now ? is how long will that last? because rubber and oil is a bad combo. make rubber swell out.

Goto napa for the hose, they have oil resistant/ hydraulic hose. That's what I'm using and it's been good for a year now.

I have to agee also because as of yesterday I have had mine on for three years problem free.

The factory 1G drain tubes are direct-fit, and cannot kink in any way. Why would you want to venture away from something that's proven and affordable?

If you're having trouble with the aluminum flex section cracking and leaking, replace it with a piece of 5/8" I.D. silicone heater hose and the problem will be solved permanently.

they keep braking where the suppose the flex at.

Do you have the bracket that holds your downpipe to the lower front edge of your engine block? I had to modify my bracket to fit my 3" downpipe, but I managed to retain it.
Once I got that damn drain sealed to the pan correctly, (flat washers are key) it hasn't sucked since.

If your turbo moves around enough to keep breaking your drainpipe, you may be stressing your turbo too.
