Make sure all the old gasket is removed from the flange surfaces. Even a little bit left on the surface can cause the flange to not seat completely, resulting in a leak. That was the mistake I made on my first turbo swap.

yeah man my oil drain tube was leaking at both ends.. during a routine oil change I removed the pipe and put a tiny bead of rtv around the holes including bolt holes and re-installed. let the rtv cure a few hours and no more leak..

I have the oil tube from the 16G install kit provided by maperformance which includes a rubber tube and threaded flanges on either end. I also used rtv on the threads, and ring clamps on the hose itself.
