Not able to seal oil drain tube

My oil drain tube wouldn't seal up so finally I decided to seal it to the turbo first than to the oil pan. My question is how much oil could I leak out that drain tube? I am down 2 quarts of oil in only 3 days of driving could that be because of the drain tube?

Uhm, totally dependent on how big the leak is. Yes, it's possible.

I would say I see a drip of oil leak out every 5 seconds when the car was off

Do you at least use gaskets or are you trying to seal it with just silicone?

2 new gaskets one for each side and I used toyota gasket maker to help seal it better

Blasphemy. Don't be surprised if your engine decides to gel up the oil for retribution.

Some Permatex silicone on the threads fixed it up for me.

I used Permatex gasket maker along with the gasket, and fixed it right up......Welding a fitting to the oil pan is always an option

Ya i finally got it to seal up! i'm happy cause now I won't lose oil from there

Cool. Its a relief, but i still check for leaks everyday.

Ya I've been looking at it every day to make sure it's not leaking i'm all paranoid
