I removed my EGT probe and gauge because I don't find it very useful, do I have any options to plug the resulting hole?

Thank you.

Sorry for got to mention that it's in the exhaust manifold. I still have teh bung in the manny. I guess I could take the bung out and put in a bolt but don't want to risk cross threading, etc.

If you have a bung, just go find the correct sized plug and plug it! -More then likely, it will be either a 1/4" or 1/8" NPT EGT bung anyways... Most hardware stores would have plugs in both sizes but will be made out of brass. A fitting/hose specialty shop would have the same plugs but in SS. -Given the choice, that's what I'd run.

Just as a update, I found a stainless steel hex head plug at ACE hardware. 1/8" part number 4217444. The 1/8" cap didn't work the because the threads where finer on the oposite side of the bung.

Mush rather have a plug then a probe since I don't ever use the EGT ever since I got my A/F monitor.
