I replaced the starter in my 95 eclipse gs, thinking that was the problem and it still won't start. So I'm guessing its the wires from the battery(neg. terminal to ground) and the postive terminal wire to the starter) I was wondering if i should replace this now? or check for something else. Im hoping one of you had this problem and what did you do to fix it?

help is greatly appreciated.

thanks a lot guys.

If you do get new wires, try to get them from the dealer. It may be more expensive but they are worth it. I redid all my wiring and my positive is 1. about two feet too long (which is good if your doing a wire tuck) but 2. it also doesnt have anywhere to hook up the ecu power connector. The ground wire from any store will work fine as all it does is go from terminal to body.

I fixed it!! i put jumper cables from the pos. and neg. of the battery to the pos. on the starter and a bolt on the starter and it fired right up! so i need to replace this wires. anyone know exactly what they are called?
