OK i have looked at a few forum posts and cannot determine what is causing my car not to start. I have a 97 Eclipse GS MT 420A.

Some history
About 6 months ago my car was randomly turning of while i was driving in low gear or at stops and was having troubles starting, I checked the codes and got the once for my ignition coil and crack shaft sensor. I replaced both and the cam shaft as well because it was leaking oil there. the car ran great after that.

Now my car will not start, it gives the got 351 and 352 which is for the ignition coil, I got a new ingition coil on the off change that it went bad again, but the car still will not start, it just turns over and over and over :( . I since I was getting the codes I checked if there was any spark on the plugs and there is none.

Any one have any thoughts as to why this might be happening

Edit: In december my starter went bad an I had to replace it

I will check the new ingition coil tonight but do you think the sensors went bad again even though I replaced them 6 months ago, and im not getting any codes for that, is there a way to test them to be sure if they are good or not?

I checked the links you listed and and some one said that if the timing is way off it might not spark or maybe the ASD was bad
I know the car as 162K miles on it and the timing belt was changed at 96K by the previous owner so could im not sure how to check it but I will find a way and I will also check the ASD when I check the coil but any other thoughts so i can check them all at once its cold out side (damn winter weather LOL)

And ty for the help :)

Ok, so odd thing my dad was looking at my car while i was at work and he unhooked the battery for about 10mins and hit the ASD a few times than hooked it all up and now my car runs, Im going to get a new ASD just incase that is what went bad but any thoughts as to why this got my car working?

well its been a few days and it is still running, so we will see what happens thanks again for all the info and help

:|If the problem continues than try changing the pcm. my car did the same thing and i ran a tester on the the car and it gave the pcm code. i just realized that the previous owner had to replace the pcm too. its a common occurence with these dsms

I would guess by the fact that he hasn't wrote back in 9 months that it's probably running ok :D
